The Slammin' Salmon

by JustinHammond » Thu Jul 15, 2010 2:46 pm

A film by Broken Lizard (Super Troopers & Beerfest). The film is about the owner of a restaurant initiating a contest to see which of his waiters can earn the most money in a single night, with a prize of $10,000. For the loser, a beating by the owner, Cleon Salmon, a former heavyweight boxer (played by Michael Clarke Duncan).

Pretty funny/goofy stuff. A little peak into the debauchery of the restaurant industry.

Not for the kids or easily offended.

Just a small taste.

Rich: Dave, can I get a re-fire?
Dave: What did you just say to me?
Rich: The guy at table five wants it cooked a little bit more.
Dave: No! They asked for it medium rare. It's perfect. If he wants it cooked more, tell him to go shove it up his ass.
Rich: You want me to tell that guy to cook this in his ass?
Dave: Yeah, within the inside of his anus.

I quite enjoyed the part where the chef put down the sample of the nightly special and the waitstaff devoured it without listening to a word the chef said while describing it.
That is so true to life. I've witnessed that thousands and thousands of times myself. I hate when the servers then have the audacity to ask what the special is again after they inhaled it.
