Forecastle!

by Dan Thomas » Wed Jul 07, 2010 6:54 am

Forecastle is this weekend and looks to be the best ever! I personally like the Saturday line-up with Cake, Smashing Pumpkins and one of my all time favorites Devo!
I'll be part of the ACF/KY Chapter catering crew providing support for the Salvation Army's Center of Hope Culinary Program vending booth as well as providing meals for the artists and production crews backstage and the Forecastle volunteers. It's amazing that a music and arts festival of this size and quality is staffed with mostly volunteers.
Come on down to the waterfront this weekend for music, arts and activisim!

$60 bucks for a day pass. I SO wanted to go see Cake and Devo tomorrow night, but I can't go all day long, 'cause I have to work, of course. So no go for me. :(

Bought 'em today for tomorrow, Thanks, Justin. Can barely afford it, but I've been working such long hours I'm just gonna MAKE it happen.

TOTALLY worth it. Thanks to some buddies, we spent the Pumpkins show backstage, about 20 feet from the band, on a SOFA.
