Need more reasons to get to Kentucky? Paley is in the middle of planting a garden, with plans for hogs and chickens down the line. He is in talks to buy a historic gas station across town, which he hopes to turn into a fun, open-air pizzeria.

The place at Third and Hill perhaps? Paley lives in Old Lou.

Could it possibly be the place at the corner of Franck and Frankfort Ave? That is a very cool building with its original facade intact. I think it's ceramic covered aluminum tiles.

if a food eatery gets into that place at frank& frankfort, that would be a miracle, it was an old garage/fillin station if im not mistaken, too many chemicals in the the concrete to even think about a kitchen being in there

Wasn't the Red Lounge, now home to Varanese, a gas station immediately before it was the Red Lounge?

I wonder what the Conde' Nast people consider to be "across town." They may consider Frankfort Ave. to be "across town" from Old Louisville.

Seems like there are probably 150-200 people on this board that know him. Why not ask him, rather than speculate?
