Heros/strange

I am not much of a pizza eater, but the lady of house was gone. Note the above post about gluten intolerant. So I tried Heros in Jeffersontown which is close to me.

Not to bad. Had a great Bud beer (sorry Roger) and a slice of pizza. Pizza could be folded .. ?? this makes it a NY pizza?? It was OK and good sized.

========== What was really strange. The bill came to 5.57 and I gave him a twenty. The waiter comes back and I quote "your change is 14.43, here is 14.00 dollars". ............. Where was the 43 cents, and although I don't really care about 43 cents, I have never seen anybody just take the change. Guy was gone and I didn't want to argue about 43 cents.

I put another dollar down. Was going to leave two dollars so he shorted himself. After leaving and thinking about it, I would not put the dollar on the table and just left him with his 43 cents.

I agree, a server should never do that and I would have done the same thing (left the dollar).
