Harpers/Amerigo Building

We drove by that today and there was a big Leased sign across the For Lease sign. Hopefully we will be getting another interesting restaurant soon. Has anybody heard any rumors?

It's been there for months, but have not heard of any news regarding the location. Anything but another Italian eatery on Hurstborne Lane; especially during lunch.

I got a notification that one of our national accounts, Brick House Tavern & Tap was moving into Louisville and this was the address I was given. You can check out their website at http://www.brickhousetavernandtap.com. Their estimated opening date is September. I'll relay more as I find out about it.

Oof. Never heard of this place, but a quick glance at the web page tells me this isn't a place I'm interested in, and that has absolutely nothing to do with whther or not it's a chain. Way too much testosterone.

Hey, here's a marketing scheme - outdated gender stereotypes + objectification of women. Do people still go for this crap?

IF this is the new lessee, I'll be the first one to wish it grand failure. Maybe that's wrong of me, but I really don't think so.

I was hoping for something that would be worth going to, doesn't sound like I am going to be so fortunate.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that had that reaction. We certainly won't be going there. It looks like a more expensive hooters. Is it just me, or does that not really work in that area?

I kind of agree, it really does sound like the right neighborhood for a restaurant like that. Probably would work a lot better at 4th Street Live.

Man, that brings back some "back in the day" memories of bachelor parties...

We kind of beat up on this place a month or so ago...I can't recall the title of the exact thread but I believe my original comment was something to the effect that "Hooters meets a trumped up Fox and Hound". I also seem to recall someone else saying something about it having an appeal to the Frathouse/Frustrated Grunting Jock crowd.

To take it a notch further, based solely on what I've seen on two visits to their website, I would NEVER visit this place. Any restaurant that demeans women as part of a corporate strategy isn't worthy of my patronage and quite frankly I hope it fails...quickly
