Anyone had Volare's brunch?

I was thinking of taking my mom there on Mother's Day, just wondering what it was like. Thanks!

It's been a couple of years since my last visit, and I'm not sure if the particulars have changed, but as to quality it was outstanding. At that time, and I assume still, it was a menu brunch, not a buffet, but the quality was just what you'd expect from Volare.

Here you go, three-year-old brunch review, so don't count on the details. I'd go again in a heartbeat, though.

I do so miss Volare's every Sunday menu brunch, but alas it is no more. The posting by Majid clearly says, "Volare Restaurant will be serving brunch from 11:00am - 3:00pm Easter Sunday."

According to their website it's a buffet now. Thanks for the link to your review, although I was hoping for thoughts on the buffet since I'm opposed to buffets in general. Anyways, this is from their website...

"Special Occasion Buffet Brunches:

Volare’s special occasion buffet brunches are a treat for the entire family.

Assorted salads, omelet station, chicken saltimbocca, biscuits and gravy, and assorted desserts are just a few of the many mouth watering buffet items that our chef prepares.

Join us: Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Easter ($25 Adults and $12 children age 10 and under)."

The price looks good and it sounds like standard brunch fare with Italian dishes peppered in. I was hoping for choices of pastas and sauces to mix and match.

Sounds like I'm overdue to check it out!

Bottom line, I tend to agree about buffets being risky, but so much depends on the quality of the effort that the restaurateur puts into it. With Majid in management and Josh in the kitchen, I would be pretty darn confident about Volare sight unseen, but what do I know? If you go, Adam, I hope you'll give us a report.

I happened in on one of the brunch occasions by accident and was most pleasently pleased and amazed at the selection, service and overall atmosphere. Well worth the money. And the desserts were to die for.

Cheers!
