Le Gallo Rosso

Finally went to Le Gallo Rosso tonight, and the 4 of us at the table have declared it to be "our new favorite restaurant". Only one of us had been there before, and she insisted we had to try it. We all had one of the night's specials....one of the meals was scallops which they spiced up a bit, two tried the fish, and I had salmon. All of us loved our meals. The salad that is served with the entree is a treat for the eyes...really cleverly done. The table shared the chocolate coconut cheesecake for dessert and managed to share without stabbing anyone else in the hand to increase our own odds of getting more than our portion...but it took great strength of character. From start to finish it was a wonderful meal...our server was fun and attentive. The inside of the restaurant is quite interesting. After we ate, we were given a quick tour of the other rooms. It was a wonderful meal and a great dining experience.

This is one of my favorite places too. My step-daughter is getting married and this is where they are having the rehersal dinner ....we went with them for the tasting and yum yum....love the salad...so pretty and tastes good too.
