Offices, microdistillery eyed for Vermont American site.

Wonder who will run the micro brewery? Please don't let it be Hops or Son of Hops or the equivalent.

Yeah baby!! Clay Street Live - Louisville's only entertainment district with two microbreweries! Maybe the Metro Council can give them one of those festival liquor licenses!

Microbrewery?

by Mark R. » Wed Jun 27, 2007 8:28 pm

Jon, from what I read in the link you provide they talked about a microdistillery not a microbrewery. Do you have some additional information on the project?

I personally think a microdistillery would be really cool, I'm sure they'd make small batch really liquors probably mostly Bourbon but possibly some other spirits. I've heard about some that makes Scotch, Vodka and Gin but one here would certainly have to make Bourbon! The only problem would be that it would take a while for the initial products to be drinkable.

Also, a microdistillery would be something quite unique and would certainly be a big draw to get people to Louisville and downtown.
