White Oak going strong

by Robin Garr » Thu Mar 25, 2010 11:46 am

I don't normally remove posts or topics, but in order to avoid any confusion, I've taken down a discussion - my fault - that conveyed an incorrect message. I'm delighted to know that White Oak is going strong; long may it prosper.

Then I'll re-post my prior glowing review.

We took my Dad there on Friday for his birthday, sat in the remodeled patio, and had a wonderful experience. The scallops were perfect and the stuffed pork amongst the better pork dishes I've had in the city. Service was solid, and prices impressive. An appetizer, three entrees, two salads, two desserts, a glass of Pappy 15 yr old, and a bottle of wine all for around $120 before tip.

They should put the fried chicken back on the menu, though.
