Lovely Lunch for One?

by Robin F. » Fri Mar 19, 2010 12:02 pm

Hi Fellow Foodies - I am off today and am thinking of taking myself to lunch. I might want to take a book with me, but won't hog a table all afternoon. Outside would be great - but it's probably still a little too early.

Any suggestions? I'm not really in the mood for ethnic, but I wouldn't be opposed to a glass of wine on this lovely afternoon. Thanks!

I'm going to DakShin for the lunch buffet. No outdoor seating but all you can eat.

How about Conez and Coneyz on Frankfort? They have great dogs and ice cream and are right next door to the bookstore. They don't have a lot of indoor seating by the answer nice outside seating.

Wine is going to be a little bit of a problem there.

Robin, Mary and a friend are eating at Meridian Cafe ... there's another nice pick.

Joe Davola's and you won't feel alone as Christopher will chat with you once he knows you are a Foodie.

Okay - I ended up at Napa (even before I saw Anne Marie's post) since I was at the bank there in the Village. It was perfect! But, since I had wine with lunch - I passed on the Comfy Cow (but did some store browsing).

As for Joe Davola's - I am devoted to them and we had two of their salads for dinner last night. Thanks everyone - now go outside!
