Hope something like tis is OK to post...

Restaurant.com is running a special on their certificates. Use the promo code FREEDOM when you check out, get 60% off your order, expires 6/30/07. I just got 2 $25 certificates for $12. No s/h, you print them out. CarlyRae's and Milano's here I come!

Welcome, Michele!

To answer your question, this kind of post is okay as long as (1) the offer is legitimate and (2) you are speaking only as a happy consumer and don't have any connection in which you would profit from promoting Restaurant.com.

Well then, its OK!

FYI for everyone - watch the requirements of each restaurant with these. i.e. You have to order a certain dollar amount, # of items, etc. Still a good deal!

I've used Restaurant.com certificates many times over the years. It's legit and a very good deal.

How does it work?

Leah,

Can you tell me a little about how the certificates work. I am thinking of purchasing some for Bourbons to either give as a gift to friends or use myself. Can I for instance buy 4 certificates at face value of $25 and use them all in one go. I note too that if you have to redeem them on-line, I'd like to actually use them this weekend if I do go ahead, do you know if that is doable?

Sorry for the litany of questions, I think I'll get a faster and more reliable answer from you than Iwould by calling customer services.

Many thanks
Kim

Read the fine print that's on the website, but I nearly certain that it's one certificate per visit. Otherwise the restaurant would be giving away food for free. :)

You purchase them online. Then immediately print them online and they're good immediately. I have literally gone to the computer, bought and printed out a certificate and used it in a restaurant a few minutes later.

We have gone to several restaurants that we may not have tried otherwise.

Many thanks for the feedback Leah - you are quite right - one coupon per party.
