When Todd Richards appeared on the show, it was well over a year between recording the episode and when it actually aired.

Talk about suspense!

An offline at Seviche where were get to eat the dishes created on the show would be awesome.

The offline idea sounds like fun, but when you look at it from Anthony and his crew's perspective... after waiting a whole year or more to see themselves on ICA, would they REALLY want to spend the evening cooking for us, instead of watching the show themselves? Let's don't do that to them.

Maybe they could cook the dishes for us some other time around the air date, but if I were Anthony I'd close Seviche the night the show airs and have and employee & friends viewing party - and have food delivered from somewhere else.

Agree, but I believe ICA airs on Sunday nights at 9:00, which would make for a horrible offline schedule. I'm thinking the following Mon. or Tue. while the dishes are fresh in everyone’s heads.

Hey Everybody!

We are in preliminary talks to appear on Iron Chef America, though it won't be until late 2011 or early 2012. We got the news while on our trip to New York to present at the James Beard House and we just got home today which is why either of us have not responded to this thread earlier.
This news was really the icing on the cake and Anthony is very excited, thus the Facebook announcement. I will certainly post here as soon as I know any details about our appearance. We will all just have to patient, including Anthony and I!!
Thanks to everyone for the congratulations and the continued support!

When Todd appeared on Iron Chef, we had a viewing party at the restaurant the night it aired... and did a special menu a few nights later recreating the menu from the show...
Honestly, I think that's the best and most realistic way to handle the event.
