St Baldrick's at Derby City Espresso & The Nachbar

by Matthew Landan » Tue Mar 16, 2010 2:17 pm

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you all know that I will be shaving my head for the St. Baldrick's Foundation charity this upcoming Saturday at the Nachbar at 4pm. They raise funds for pediatric cancer research. In addition I'll be donating my hair to Locks for Love. The Nachbar will be selling a keg of NABC Community Dark during the shearings with all proceeds going to St. Baldricks. After the shavings there will be an afterparty at DCE where we will continue the fundraising with another keg of Community Dark and several specially donated cases of Upland Brewing Company Beer. Again all proceeds from the sale of this beer will be going to St. Baldricks.

If any of you wish to you can make donations to St. Baldrick's in my name here: https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/derbycityespresso

Thanks so much and I hope to see you on the 20th!

Thanks so much

The St. Baldrick's beer donation changed to Beak's Best at the last minute, but still a 100% proceed contribution!

Great cause and lots of fun. My 16 yr old daughter raised over $2000 and had her head shaved at 4th Street Live. She looks cute, too!
