Has anyone been to Sonny's Island Grill in Jeffersonville, IN? I've recently heard about it and would like to know how it is before driving up there.

I know the guy doin' the cooking. Great guy! He actually catered the rehearsal dinner for another friend of ours back in September, before Sonny's opened. The food served was food that I believe they'll be serving in the restaurant, and it was all delicious!

I'm sorry to say I haven't eaten there yet. They have served NABC beer since opening. Right now they have Elector Imperial Red. They serve Beak's Best on occasion.

I've not been there yet, either, but my wife and I went many times when it was Jimmy's (& then Jerry's) On The River. Nice facility with the second story deck overlooking the riverfront. Ample parking lot as well, not to be taken for granted in that area. Drove bbuy a couple of weeks ago and was curious as well. I am very interested in the beer upgrade and maybe food upgrade. Anybody who doesn't know where this is at the river end of Spring Street in Jeff here's this:
