Strange!

Its encouraging to see chain establishments stopping and taking notice. Also check out Buckheads ( Gardiner Ln. ) and J.Alexanders, I also believe Tumbleweed on the river. While our overall foot print in the market remains small, its local support that has been key. You can trust that your favorite local brewery is working together with each other to make Louisville a great beer town.

Yeah, building up local beers in Corporate Chain type places is a very very slow and painful process. I was doing it in Arizona ten years ago. Often the managers don't have much choice in what they carry. Often they can choose one handle, and the rest is corporate decisions. Or similar.

So if you're in those type of places for some reason, buy the local stuff. (those bean counters don't look at much other than the numbers. Things like quality mean nothing whatsoever to them)...

Seems like we're getting closer to critical mass. At a certain point, the chains will ALL have to carry some local beers. (it'll become corporate policy)

(I seem to remember Chili's being the best chain to deal with way back when. "Old Chicago" was also really good about supporting local. Tgif literally couldn't at the time - pure corporate decision). How are the local Chili's here? (I must admit to never setting foot in places like that, so haven't been to one since AZ)
