Pizza fundamentalists, don't open this ...

by Robin Garr » Mon Mar 15, 2010 2:43 pm

I'm reliably informed that the Boombozz Tap House on Bardstown Road is rolling out a one-day specialty for St. Patrick's Day on Wednesday: A REUBEN Pizza.

I stood tall in honor of the Hot Brown Pizza, a concept that I think works in the pizza format. But corned beef and sauerkraut? I dunno. I might have to try it ...

Like a moth to a flame. Frank?, Frank? You oughta see what these hillbillies are doing to "your" life's work. It is time for an Apizza jihad.

Beats me, but if they follow the pattern of the Hot Brown pizza, they will deconstruct the sandwich and lay all the ingredients (except the bread) atop a Boombozz crust, then fire it at high heat. I might actually have to try this.

Bill, I KNEW that would drag you out. :D

But who eats sauerkraut on St. Patrick's day?? I'd go for corned beef and cabbage and black eyed peas....maybe. But sauerkraut?!

Though I've never had anything I didn't like from Boombozz...
