I'd give it a shot. Hopefully it won't stink as much as Fox and the Hound.

Kyle,

Before reading your reply, I went to their website...The first thing that popped into my mind when I saw the restaurant "theme" and menu was "Fox and Hound" meets "Hooters"...with maybe a little BW3 thrown in. The menu is very sports bar-ish and unimpressive.

Steve, there is something much more important going on here than a generic brewpub......who is the new guitarist on your avatar??

He looks like he is 80. :)

This is something more than a generic pub as I looked at the selections of beer. While they probably will not have Fat Tire on draft in Louisville; most of the other ones seem to be of good note.Even though their culinary choices may not be up to snuff in comparison to other choices of Louisville; I still think it's an improvement over the other ones in Louisville.

Kyle,

More like 60...in other words just a young man :P

Looking at the Brick House website (again) I'm still pretty unimpressed with the concept...."man food", "BH girls", "Beer Bongs"...I mean if you're a 20-something and into that type of stuff that's cool...I'm afraid me 'n ol' Ricky just happen to fall outside that demographic. Now on the other hand if I'm GM of a Hooters, or Fox and Hound or BW3 I'm paying attention to these guys because they are probably going to take some of my business. Again, not saying it's bad...just saying "been there, done all that"

Please correct me if this is a new high (low), but have we now evolved to trashing a place even before it opens? IMHO, predicting how the food will taste based upon their web site seems a bit premature.

Jeffrey, I'm not sure anyone is previewing the food, but I'm with Steve: When I see a Website talking about ".."man food", "BH girls" and "Beer Bongs" I get a pretty clear sense of the place overall. Food is only part of the dining experience, but often you can make a pretty good guess based on extraneous factors.

How can this place be taken seriously as a restaurant. Why the name, once you check out the website, says it all the BH girls are supposedly 'built like a Brick sh*t House'. I don't think the customers that they attract are looking for a good meal.

Define "serious".

As wanting to run a successful business, I believe they do want a serious atmosphere. In terms of white linens and a sommelier; I doubt it.

Man food, BH girls and Beer Bongs

Sounds like a frat party to me.
