Paul's One World Cafe open in New Albany

by Sally M » Mon Feb 22, 2010 3:34 pm

Hi! If you haven't already heard, there's a new restaurant open in New Albany in the spot that previously housed the Market Street Fish House - 133 E. Market St. It is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

I enjoyed dinner there on their third day of business about a week ago. The salsa they brought to the table was very tasty, and the chile relleno, rice and beans dinner was very satisfying and very good portion size. In fact, the pepper itself was the largest I've had as a relleno in Louisville and Southern Indiana.

Although I don't recall exact details, I can say that you will also find the prices very attractive, and you'll find a number of vegetarian choices. Seems many dinners were priced at $5.99, including my relleno dinner, if memory serves. As a bonus, if you aren't ravenous, you may order the kid's dishes regardless of your age. I love that, and would be happy if other venues would not age-restrict their kid's menu choices.

My recommendation is to give this cafe a try. I'll be interested to hear what other forumites think of the food. I'm certain I will visit again soon!
