More great stuff at 732 Social

by Blake N » Sun Feb 21, 2010 12:19 pm

Last night we had the charcuterie plate again, which featured a terrific smoked duck breast. The meat n' cheese plates at Social are always so good. Next it was a chicken liver dish with fried chicken livers over a hot liver pate. This was really great. Next we shared Duck Breast, Liver & Leg. This had stewed leg meat topped with a seared duck breast and liver. Awesome. We also shared the Tagine of Moroccan Vegetables. This was so aromatic... I wish more local Indian and Middle Eastern restaurants would put this much spice in their recipes. Also, it's nice to know that we can arrive at 10:30pm and still get great food and service. This isn't true at many of our KY restaurants, even some of the ones that claim to cater to a late-night crowd. Thanks again, Social. You made the trip from Lex to Louisville worthwhile!

Finally made it there tonight. Mussels to die for, really great meal, top notch short beer list.

I had the steak, too - with Dogfish Head Palo Santo Marron, which was an amazing pairing.
