Woke up this morning still beaming w/ the support for the Chefs for Hope event last night. It was beyond a sell out, and will hopefully have a long range positive impact for Chef Timothy at the Salvation Army Culinary Training Program. The video of the students brought tears to many people's eyes-- to hear how learning to cook has changed lives, and brought dignity to so many, was incredible. Dean Corbett, Kathy Cary, Daniel Stage, Jim Gerhart, Peng Looi, Anoosh Shariat, out did themselves w/ the food. Paula - it was such a magical night! Park Place was the perfect venue. You and Anoosh were the consummate hosts. Just to be amidst all the creativity and passion was very inspiring. A great big thank you to all you mentioned - I am reminded how our community really comes together to help. And I think we can say it'll be almost $25,000 raised!
