As long as the bottles were sealed properly there's no reason to think it would have turned in any way. Scotch isn't like wine, it doesn't age outside the barrel so, if it as good going in the bottle it'll be good now.
Yeah, I'd love a sip of that just to see if there's much variance in styles over the years.
