Celebrate July 4th in Simpsonville KY
Old Stone Inn will be hosting a 4th of July Community Celebration on July 4th starting @ 4:00p. The local Fire Department and owners, Sally & Paul Crump welcome you to the Inn for some Games, Music, Food and Fireworks! This celebration will be fun for all ages and all proceeds will benefit WHAS Crusade for Children and the Luci Center. The Luci Center is a non-profit organization located in Shelbyville Kentucky providing therapeutic riding for children and adults with disabilities. The mission of The Luci Center is to enrich the minds, bodies and spirits of individuals with disabilities through horse-related activities. Founded by Paula Nieto in 1997, the Center is named after her yellow lab Luci also stands for Love Understanding Care and Involvement.
The festivities will feature food including Burgers, brats and hot dogs served from 4:00p-8:00p, Music by Lewis Mathis 6-8pm and The Cumberland’s 8-10pm, and Cash Bar will be Open from 4:00p-10:00p (after Fireworks). Kids will have the opportunity to jump on the inflatable bounce, have their face painted and other fun friendly activities while parents and adults enjoy refreshments, music, the Simpsonville Sun and watching their kids having a good Old Stone Time! The picnic will end with a bang with a homespun fireworks display for all to enjoy!
