Full disclosure... until last week I worked at TFM (just for the sake of full disclosure) Before my day there I thought I would take advantage of my employee discount and buy my groceries there once again. Few of us that work there buy EVERYTHING at TFM. Usual simple staples like sugar, flour and canned goods are bought elsewhere, cheaper. Since I wanted to make only one stop this time and was going to make chili I opted to splurge the extra pennies and buy TFM brand canned, crushed tomatoes and several cans of TFM kidney beans. They were on sale anyway. OMG! I couldn't believe the difference in quality. Far superior to Hunts and Kroger (I think some Kroger branded products are some pretty OK.) I had heard all the company spiel about quality and I do love TFM produce, meats and all the gourmet stuff but I never expected the difference in quality in something like canned tomatoes or beans. Few pennies more, world of difference.
