Chefs for Hope - Saturday 2/6 at Park Place

KRA is proud to be a part of this wonderful dinner to benefit Chef Timothy Tucker's Salvation Army Center for Hope Culinary Training Program.

Many fine suppliers, including Creation Gardens, Bluefin Seafood, SYSCO/Louisville, Brown Forman and Republic National Distributing, are donating product. Chef Anoosh Shariat heard Chef Timothy speak at a meeting and immediately pulled together Chef Jim Gerhardt, Chef Kathy Cary, Chef Dean Corbett, Chef Peng Looi and Chef Daniel Stage to prepare a 6-course dinner with assistance for Chef Tim & his students in the kitchen. Servers are donating their time to serve the dinner.

Tickets are $225 each. We're limited to 110 people and have 30 spots still available.

If you're interested in attending or donating if you cannot attend, please contact me!

The chefs have not all submitted their menu items. We'll have seafood, salad, bison and beef, dessert, pasta courses but I don't believe Chef Anoosh knows the final menu yet. Maybe he'll post here if so!

I should mention Dumante is involved, too, and creating a special drink for the cocktail reception! Our little group of 3 or 4 has ballooned to 20 or so people involved!

A very worthy non-profit- Chef Timothy does amazing work and changes a lot of lives.

For those of you not familiar with the program, there was an article about it in USA Today last year:
