New place on Baxter

We walked up to Flanagan's tonight and the bar between O'Shea's & the former Potstickers has a sign on the door that Donegan's is coming soon. Anyone know more about this new spot?

That didn't take long. I wonder if maybe it's the same owner?

I got to try Papalino's today - liked it. We noticed Donegan's across the street. It's a big place and apparently Irish, window lettering says free wi-fi and 68 beers. There was a sign saying it's open at 4 pm daily. Anyone tried it?

Yes, I've been a couple of times and have walked by a lot as we are in that area almost every weekend. They have a vast array of taps behind the bar and the times I was there they were about 2/3 active so that's about 46 actually flowing. There's the usual suspects plus plenty of local metro & regional brews & other craft options. I had my first resurrected Falls City there, $3 a pint. Had a burger and fries as well, good pub grub but I wish the menu was larger. The facility is really big with several rooms and should be an easy contender to hold their own on a couple of blocks crowded with options. There's a full bar but I always concentrate on the beers and in that category and neighborhood they're as good as any and better than most. The competitive disadvantage is the other nearby places all have more extensive menus. From the couple of visits and frequent neighborhood walks it never seems to have many people there. That might be because my wife and I are early out / early in folks so maybe it is more of a nighttime place. Anybody here stay out after dark in the summer that can say?
