Craft Beer, Boombozz, and this Coomes guy

Interesting interview on serving craft beer at Boombozz

So, who is Steve Coomes over at Louisvillemojo.com? He seems to have had the scoop on some restaurant news lately.

He's a local free-lancer, the guy who until recently did the page of short restaurant news items that precede Marty's Saturday review in the CJ. If I recall, he used to free-lance for LEO years ago, and wrote for Pizza Today magazine. He did one story for me when I was editing Food & Dining.

Steve knows his stuff from a culinary perspective. He cooked for the Grisanti organization back in the heyday of Sixth Avenue and Casa. (And he's a heckuva nice guy to boot.)

Steve certainly is a wealth of knowlege when it comes to the food scene. I have had the pleasure of working with Steve and he has astounded me with his knowlege of food in every aspect. Plus he is a great writer and knows how to cover every scope of the story. I know he will do a great job for them.
