What makes Sunday so special that it needs a special license?

Because Alcohol sales use to be prohibited on Sundays. Now that it's eased up, they are wanting to apply liquor stores to apply for special licenses on a law that's already been revoked. Makes sense to me!

And, to make money.

The whole concept of "liquor licenses" has never made sense to me. If you pay your business taxes, you should be able to sell whatever you want.

If we really wanted to generate revenue, we'd just legalize marijuana. People around the world already smoke Kentucky pot as it is, so we might as well use it to fund something useful like education!
