Anybody been to Umai Zushi yet?

by Deb Hall » Sat Jan 23, 2010 5:33 pm

We live nearby and were thinking of going with kids. On their ad it says they have Hibachi, so maybe there is something for our 5 year old???. Not expecting Sake Blue -level sushi by any means- just want to know if it's good, fresh and worth going to.

Thanks,

Did find a coupon on-line for those who didn't get one in the mail:

But no menu. :(

It is not open yet. At least that is what the guy said when I called last week. I think they are hoping to open next weekend. I know it is like 7.99 for lunch and 11.99 for dinner. Not sure what quality they can deliver for those prices though.

Thanks, Jenny! I'll be interested to hear how good it is- if the food is good that's a good price.

There used to be something similar in Knoxville several years ago and the prices were about the same. The quality was decent, definetly nothing as good as you will get from the better sushi places, but along the same lines as what you'd find at Kroger. It will be interesting to see how they are. I love sushi, hubby detests it...but I may be able to lure him in with hibachi.
