La Rosita moving

This is a little bit of a heard it through the grapevine, but here goes

My wife was speaking with a designer in New Albany today that mentioned that La Rosita was moving from Market to Pearl St. "next to the winery." Supposedly it is going to be "huge" and have a salsa bar. Those are all the details I have right now. Maybe someone else has a better connection than I and can confirm/add details.

This is excellent news as I LOVE their salsa, even though I have to pay for it.

I've heard this rumor for a bit now. One good thing for them moving there, aside from the larger space, would be getting a 3 way liquor license in the redevelopment district that would allow them to sell alcohol. I wish them nothing but luck!

It is not rumor. Roger posted on one of his blogs some months back. The building is on the SE corner of Pearl & Spring St., formerly Fashion Shop & Save. Large building. A peak through the kraft paper on the windows reveals a keg box with taps installed. I can't wait as it is 1 block from the brewery door at Bank Street Brewhouse.
