Beef/Pork Processors

by Bill P » Fri Jan 22, 2010 10:31 am

I'm familiar with Sander Processing in Celestine, IN and like them a lot, but was curious if there were other "local" meat processors in the area with retail operations? I buy most of my beef from a local farm, but need a source of non-industrialized pork as my freezer needs a re-supply.
TIA,
'Winger

Bill, Preferred Meats in Sellersburg might fit your needs. It's a very nice retail operation for a local farm. They're full retail, though, and I don't know whether you can get price benefits for freezer-size quantities.
