Interesting. Hope it works. Wonder how much expertise/experience the two daughters who will be running it have.

Is this the building that recently housed the Democratic campaign office,or is it the place across the street that is right next to Cakeflour? I thought they both had the Hausman name at one time.

And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

Almost every new wine shop starts with the intention of offering mostly small production wines. Then the wholesalers put the pressure on the retailer and soon the shelves are filled with Gallo products and similar industrialized wines. Plus, guidance from a Sonoma wine consultant...whee!
That said, I hope I'm wrong about this and wish them well with the entire venture.

I think it sounds great. West Market needs all it can get - I'm beginning to really like that area more and more.

This must be the building that used to be the political office; has "Hausman - the eagle has landed" on the side. It's across the intersection (catty-corner) from Felice.
I wonder if this could help revive the Legacy Lofts green condo development up the street at Campbell and Main?

So I'm sensing from reading this thread (and others) that this NuLu thing on East (??) Market is something of an on again-off again "fits and starts" kinda thing ? Not being critical, just trying to get a handle on what's going on. (Where is ol' Phil when ya need him...HE'D get this stuff squared away !)

I'd say overall, it's been mostly "on-again." A few projects have stalled, others have closed (Primo), but generally it's been developing at a steady pace. Maybe 5 steps forward, then 1 or 2 back, then 5 forward.
