Pewee Valley area restaurant with take-out

by Gayle DeM » Fri Jun 15, 2007 4:55 pm

Friends of mine are driving up from Danville late tomorrow afternoon to "grandsit" for the first time in Pewee Valley. They would like to stop along the way to pick up supper/dinner to go. They would like something better than McDonald's or Ruby Tuesday's. Peewee Valley isn't my neck of the woods. Do any of you have suggestions that I can pass on to them?

Just because it drives me nuts because I live here.

It is Pewee Valley. Jucy's is right here and my pizza shop delivers into Pewee Valley. The Summit and the Springhurst Shopping Center are both just a quick trip away. Which is full of places to dine at, or to grab carry-out from.

Scott has that nailed. Fast Break or Jucy's. Skip Springhurst.

Thank you

Thanks Scott and Ed. I have emailed info about Jucy's and Fast Break to my friends.

I looked up the Fast Break website and was most impressed with the menu. I usually don't get pizza because I live by myself, but the small Garden Supreme, with crunch thin crust, sounds just perfect and its but fifteen minutes from my home.

I would say Jucy's as well. Can't go wrong with anything on that menu. Especially that apple dessert.
