Dinner AND dancing?

by David Clancy » Mon Jan 18, 2010 12:48 pm

So, it's their 40th Anniversary and I was thinking a nice upscale dinner (with dancing.......). Is there anyplace in town that fits this bill?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Not quite upscale, but you could kill two birds.

February 13th 2010 - 7:00pm

A moonlight cruise on the beautiful Ohio River is a special way to celebrate the holiday with your sweetheart. A delicious buffet dinner (advance reservations are required) and music for your listening and dancing pleasure create the perfect romantic setting to impress your special Valentine.

It's happening on the riverboat Spirit of Jefferson, and with two enclosed decks she's a boat for all seasons. Call 502-574-2992 or (toll free) 866-832-0011 for information, to make a reservation, or to check the status of the cruise.

Our cruises make a great venue for group get togethers and celebrations. Call for information. Gift certificates are available for purchase all year.

Small dance floor, people coming and leaving walk through it. Hard to dance if it's crowded.

Are you looking for a more quieter place for dinner and dancing, as in atmosphere? Or lively? Rubys is a good place , but known for their festive atmosphere. HOWEVER, this takes nothing away from the quality of the place; it's great.

Maybe dine at one of your favorite restaurants, and then go to Jerry Green @ Breckinridge Inn! Freddy George usually opens up for Jerry and you simply can't beat his piano playing!
