For those that have been, what would you say is the AVERAGE cost of dinner for two without alcohol?

$30-50 depending on if you order apps, dessert.

Here is the menu.

If you were looking to eat there REALLY cheap, then you could split a Cuban Sandwich. Its easily big enough for two people.
It's definitely one of the best, cheap places you can eat. My wife and I ate there last Friday night and spent 30 bucks including the tip. If you don't drink and only order entrees then you can easily spent less than that.

Looking at the menu Im surprised to not see conch fritters,a fairly standard dish in Caribbean cuisine.
The tall one wants white toast, dry, with nothin' on it.
And the short one wants four whole fried chickens, and a Coke.

If 2 people = 2 entrees + tax + tip, I'd say $30. They will leave stuffed and happy.

I've gone with another person in the past; split two appetizers; and one dessert. Made out in good shape.

We have been searching but have only been able to find frozen conch, so we are trying to use fresher products. If we do find fresh conch then I will be sure to let everyone know when fritters will be available.

Rick,
Try this http://www.angelfire.com/fl5/cfarmsllc/ for your fresh conch.

I went there last week for the first time. The Lechon Adobado and Congris ($11.99) were both outstanding as were the Portabella Mushrooms and Spinach Empanadas ($6.99). I could definitely see 2 people being able to split that app and dinner.

The fried plantain chips and dipping sauce was amazing as well.

Thanks, guys. I was debating between buying the $25 and the $50 gift cert from the site. $25 (with $50 purchase) sounds right then.
