Bearno’s By The Bridge’s New Look!
Monday, June 25, 2007 Bearno’s By The Bridge, corner of Second and Main will host an official celebration of 30 years of Business for the Louisville locally owned Bearno’s, and a viewing of the new and improved pizzeria. Bearno’s began with the Bowman Field location 30 years ago, and now has more than 15 operating throughout Kentuckiana.
Bearno’s by the Bridge, has been in the By the Bridge location for 10 years and was the 11th locations to Open-they are ready to celebrate the re-modeling and the 30th Birthday! Bearno’s by the Bridge was the old Anthony by the Bridge hotspot and has not been touched in over 20 years! Patrons now will enjoy the same ole “Mama” but in a different setting of comfort and style. The cooperative efforts of Bearno’s ownership and the owners of the historic building, Metramatrix, Inc., both Kentucky corporations, funded this cosmetic renovation to the restaurant.
Improvements include:
· Finished Buffet Room downstairs, new walls, ceiling, hardwood flooring, new lighting fixtures, finished stairwell, remodeled Main Dining Room, fresh finished Bathroom and the Bar and entryway received several new touches and new hardwood floors.
Festivities begin with local dignitaries cutting the ribbon ceremony from 4:30p-7:00 with media and invited guest-enjoying complimentary pizza buffet, discounted cocktails, Madam Zelda reading palms and live Italian style music by “The Accordion Guy”! Then, from 7:00-10:30 the public is welcome to enjoy the party and celebrate with discounted pizza, drink specials and continued entertainment with “The Accordion Guy” and Madam Zelda.
