Just wanted to bump this up and provide a link to the info page now with schedule and menus.

I know it's pricey, but it is a once in a lifetime experience if you can manage it.

I am so excited about this event, and I'm kind of surprised that there hasnt been more chatter about it on here. This is the basic concept from our info packet:
The dinner series is designed to spotlight two visiting chefs and one local chef each night of the 16 day WEG. All chefs are encouraged to use local products, indigenous ingredients and regional fare to showcase Kentucky.

I think that this event is going to be truly special, as 48 chefs from across the country come to Kentucky to collaborate. Here are some of them:

John Besh, Restaurant August, New Orleans;
Paul Kahan, Blackbird, Chicago, IL;
Philippe Boulot, the Heathman at the Heathman Hotel, Portland, Ore.;
Clifford Harrison and Anne Quatrano Bacchanalia, Atlanta;
Sanford D’Amato, Sanford Restaurant, Milwaukee,
Roberto Donna, Galileo,Washington, D.C.;
Jose Garces, Amada, Philadelphia;
Mark Kiffin, The Compound restaurant, Santa Fe, N.M.;
Mike Lata, Fig, Charleston, S.C.;
Christopher Lee, Aureole, New York City;
Emily Luchetti, Farallon Restaurant, San Francisco;
George Mavrothalassaitis, Chef Mavro Restaurant, Honolulu;
Nancy Oakes, Boulevard restaurant, San Francisco;
Vitaly Paley, Paley’s Place Bistro and Bar, Portland, Ore.;
Joachim Splichal, Patina Restaurant Group,
Marc Vetri, Vetri, Philadelphia

Local Chefs include Anthony Lamas, Edward Lee, Ouita Michel, Dean Corbett, Michael Paley, Jeremy Ashby, Kathy Cary, Jim Gerhardt, John Varanese and Johnathan Lundy, among others.

Here is a link to the complete schedule and menus for the dinners:

I can't wait for some of these fantastic celebrity chefs to show up in our local restaurants on the nights surrounding their dinners!
