a piece of tidbit i heard today...

that's a nice building but I'm pretty sure it's been there at least 4yrs or so. I know I've been in there in 05. Great, all we need is another Starbucks.

But actually, that's right in the middle of their model target market. People with a lot of money that like bad coffee and feel cool drinking it

I agree with Brian about Starbucks. I'm a Crescent Hillian and patronize either Heine Bros or Blue Dog for my to-go coffee and pastries. Why not support our great quirky locals instead of the corporate monolith?

i was out at national city bank today (brownsboro rd/22) they were bought out by pnc bank.
overheard one of the tellers talking about what is to go in this (2yr.old building)
according to what they heard (not sure how reliable this is) possibly a starbucks, or a a yum brand restaurant.
i myself wouldn't mind one of those 3 in one combo places that yum brand has in other parts of louisville. kfc/a&w/tacobell.
we already have a starbucks at the summit
i would love to see an ethnic place in there.
