While being fortunate to get to try some of the best restaurants in town many in our own town need basic food for survival.
I was looking at a way to organize a food drive to take to Dare to Care but thought of an easier, more efficient way. I noticed that they have an online credit card donation option. This would be a great and easy way for people on this site to collectively make a difference.
Any donation however small (even a few dollars) could add up. Every $1 donation provides up to four meals. Only 6% of donations go to administrative costs.
If you would like to donate, it can be done very simply on the site with any credit card. If you type "Louisville Hotbytes" in the comments they will know it came from us. I will email and ask them if they can keep a total of donations from Hotbytes.
We all love food so let's help some people that really need it!
