Sake Blue's Chef Jack roll is AMAZING

by Adam Smith » Sat Jan 09, 2010 6:29 pm

Had a wonderful meal at Sake Blue last night, just thought I'd share. I had miso soup, the Chef Jack roll(on the waiter's suggestion, THANK YOU) and tuna sashimi. My friends also got miso soup, a Philadelphia roll, California rolls and a sashimi combo and we all shared with each other. We also split a couple bottles of warm sake. I've been a couple times before but it's worth mentioning that everything was wonderful and the service was outstanding. Best sushi in town IMO.

adam, thanks for the suggestion. i've been there before too. all of the maki rolls sound delicious and i always have a tough time deciding what to choose. i got a gift card for christmas so i'll be stopping in there soon. to return the favor, i'll share that last time i was there i had the vegas roll and the crazyfish roll. both were yummy! we espescially loved the vegas. give them a try.

I almost ordered the Vegas roll if I remember correctly. So many rolls, so little time. I think next time I'll just drop some cash on the table and tell the sushi chef to surprise me.

Adam, that is what our table did at the off line last year and we got the treat of a lifetime.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed dining with us!! The Chef Jack is one of my favorite rolls too. Another one that you should try is the Tokyo Love Story. It's been on our specials board for awhile and we're actually going to add it to our permanent menu when we make the change for Spring :). If you want to try a chef's latest and greatest, you can choose to do the "omakase" where you tell us how much you'd like to spend and we build an order accordingly. Make sure to specify if you want a mix of nigiri/sashimi and/or maki. THANK YOU for coming!
