Dang CJ beat me to it ... my review is slated for LEO and LouisvilleHotBytes on Wednesday.

It really bugs me that the CJ gets a lot of its restaurant news information by lurking here. I'd feel a lot better about it if their food people were polite enough to post and participate rather than just coming by to lurk and read the news. :P

We went last Monday and Cathy said that the CJ had called to ask to come and take pictures. I had a feeling this was coming then. She told us a lot of folks had come in saying they heard about them from LHB. She said they refrained frrom doing any big publicity to get the kinks out, but the word of mouth and HotBytes had really brought folks in. We loved it, had Louisville, Sirloin and White Chicken chili. Also egg salad sand, hot dog and cheese fries. Eddy, Richard and I all went out warm and full. :D

We went today. My take:
1) Green Pork Chile was excellent
2) The Sirloin Chile was very good.
3) Didn't really like the Louisville Chile. In his review Marty mentioned that it should have been cooked longer. I didn't understand his comment until I tasted it--it had a bit of raw tomato feel to it. Too many green peppers for the daughter. Just okay.

They had a booming business going when we were in there. Hope it works out.
