Selena's "Fat Tuesday" Mardi Gras Offline

by Steve P » Thu Jan 07, 2010 2:55 pm

Anyone up for a Selena's "Fat Tuesday" Mardi Gras offline (Feb 16th) ?

I sent Chris from Selena's a P.M. about doing an offline that evening and he says to bring it on. They are having Hurricane drink specials that night along with King Cake and Cajun music. He wasn't sure about any other specials at this point.

He has no problem with separate checks and you can "roll your own" gratuity. Who's "in" (I'll coordinate).

Karen,

This is kinda distant (Feb 16th) and I'm sure a lot of people don't have their social calendars firmed up yet. Selena's and Fat Tuesday should be a great "combo" for an offline, I hope a lot of others think so as well. BTW, no UofL game that night, I checked.

Say, this sounds very interesting! I do believe we could (at least tentatively, this early date) sign up for that.

Sounds like a great idea, and Selena's is only a few minutes from home, so I think I can commit hubby (Tom Person) and I!

Any idea on a time? Worknight + Late night of Hurricanes = Horrible Wednesday Morning

We may be interested...been wanting to get out there for awhile now. However, Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year are the 14th...so not sure how far the budget will stretch. *crossing fingers for job*

Put me and my wife (Laura) down. Considering Selena's is one of our favorite restaurants and right around the corner we wouldn't miss it!

Fortunately for us we will be in Disney World then. Sounds like a great time, though!

I suppose my suggestion would be 6:30-ish but how about I check with Chris and see what time would be best for them to do a large party. The reason I suggest that time is that it's late enough that folks don't have to rush home from work but early enough that Selena's has some possibility of turning at least part of the table should a portion of our party call it an early night.

Tell ya what...we'll just call it the Selena's Mardi Gras and Valentines Day offline and have the Chef throw some Cajun Egg Rolls on the menu for a special appetizer. See...there ya have it, all bases covered, problem solved. We'll even give you and the Hubby a little "quiet time" on the patio and promise not to look...Well maybe a little.

Ohh Ohh Ohh! I'm in!!! Sounds like FUN!!! Love the food. Long way from my house so I'll have to watch the hurricanes...If we bring our own Pat O'Brian's hurricane glass, do we get a discount??? Can't wait!
