I don't know if anyone else is as excited to see this movie as I am. But it just got alot worse now that I see that Thomas Keller had his hand in it.

Yes, we are excited too. Hard to find things to take a 3 year old and teen and adults that would hold all of our interest.

Thanks for sharing this one: it'll add a whole other level to watching it...

Rats in the Kitchen!!!

by Allison Williams » Wed Jun 13, 2007 1:01 pm

I saw the trailer for this movie about a year ago and my children are on the countdown. Looking forward to the laughs! Have you gone to the website itself because there is even a 15 minute teaser. Too much fun!

I dunno; movies about rats seem cheesy. :D

I'm pretty stoked myself.

Should we grab every cook we know and have a movie night?

I put vegetables in your desserts, white chocolate with your fish and other nonsense stuff that you think shouldn't make sense, but coax the nonsense into something that makes complete sense in your mouth. Just open your mind, mouth and eat.

As both a foodie and a Brad Bird-movie fan, I can wholeheartedly endorse Ratatouille! Whether you're an adult with or without kids in tow, it's a warm, funny, engaging, craving-inducing delight that everyone can enjoy without feeling pandered to in the slightest.

And man was I starving by the end! A weekend of lovely meals at Baxter Station, Lynn's, and Toast took care of that, though not my yen for French food ....

Just came back from Baxter Theatre after seeing this with my seven year old. We both loved it, and I think it hit on a lot of the feelings and senses that pertain to us foodies. Definitely don't have to be a kid to enjoy this one!

I love Pixar movies! I love cooking! Maybe i got myself worked up too much for this one or i need to see it again..... but i didnt find it to be very funny as they have been saying it was. it was a very very well done movie and had great parts but i was a little let down on the comedy aspect. i give it an A but i think CARS was funnier.

We went to the Georgetown Drive-In to see it (call me old school...) and I really liked it as did my 4 year old son (or maybe it was the cotton candy he liked?!?!?!...)

...still haven't seen it yet,
but my roommate has been playing the video game.
(which is pretty entertaining in itself to watch.)
