Looks awesome.

One problem. I before E except after C. But I s'pose rules were made to be broken. And after a couple brews you probably won't find too many grammar nazis...and NABCeiged may not look as good anyway. Cool graphics by the way.

Cheers!

You bet! Thank those Celts and Gaels, the wacky Norman Conquerors from France, the Danes and the Norse Vikings for turning English from just a rustic variation of German into one of the world's most aggressively flexible languages. A pat on the back for Geoff Chaucer and Bill Shakspear and a few other old dead white guys for teaching us how to make it play tricks.

Signed, Robin, English Major

I never thought twice when I viewed the graphic while in Germany. There, i-e makes long ee, as in bier, pronounced beer. Same as it ever was. perhaps I was being influenced by the cheery, beery environment.

English language is a pain. Exceptions everywhere. Sooooo glad I didn't have to learn it (as a second language). Amazing that kids can figure it out growing up.

It makes me respect great authors like Conrad and Nabokov, who wrote brilliantly in English as a second language. Actually, they're two of my favorites. I still need a dictionary while reading Nabokov. (I used to make flashcards while reading his books to learn vocabulary).

(p.s. I understood the siege reasoning. It just wouldn't have worked otherwise - would have looked goofy)

The beer part is the most important thing anyway!

Left unstated is how we're going to manage swapping all the kegs of beer around to make this work. Say a silent prayer for Jared, Mike, Ben and Eric, who'll be doing the heavy lifting, literally.

I just go back to town, and Dave will have the exact answer, but we had decided to delay the release just a bit to give Bonfire more time. Instead of pre-Christmas, we were looking at the first half of January -- if memory serves. It may already be on tap at the Pizzeria & Pub. I'll investigate on Monday.

Bonfire of the Valkyries is being packaged this week and will go on at some point during our siege. The best way to stay abreast of NABC News is to sign-up for our weekly e-newsletter here.

Bonfire was moved forward in the schedule so we could release Solidarity during Saturnalia.

Honestly, at some point it becomes difficult for this drinker's brain to keep track. I knew we delayed release, but could not remember why. Now I do. :D

4 kegs of Bonfire mysteriously appeared in the Bank Street Brewhouse walkin cooler yesterday. Should I tap one?
