My Fav Pizza of 2009: Boombozz Taphouse

I wish I had a good photo of the sausage pie at Boombozz Taphouse, because it's the pizza there that I dream of. The meat it's topped with is a house-made crumbly pork sausage flavored with sage and fennel. It's a mix that's somehow subtle yet flavor-packed—none of the herbs overpowers the others, but there's a rich finish to the bite. Couple that with a pint of NABC Hoptimus and you're golden. Matter of fact the Hubby and I will be there today to watch the Cats and Cards game, I hope they have plenty of Hoptimus!

I like to make my own creation with the whole wheat crust-went there last night with some friends and kiddos. My friend Ellen and I created: Extra Pomodoro Sauce, Fontina Cheese, Italian Sausage, Jalepenos, Pineapples, peppers & onions and fresh basil-SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!Plus, it is always great fun and they have such a cute manager!!
