Thanks to Todd Antz and Keg Liquors

After the recent discussion about maintaining stated hours, I just wanted to say thanks to Todd and the Keg crew for staying open beyond posted hours last night. After multiple reminders, I still nearly forgot the obligatory holiday beer run before everything closed down.

We arrived at the Keg a whole five minutes before closing and were well accommodated with no rush, being told they'd decided to stay open a bit later. Judging by the small traffic jam getting in and out of the store, we weren't the only ones who appreciated it!

Our day is a bit merrier as a result of that kindness. Can't wait to crack the St. Feuillien.

I love hoppy beers. This year Santa traveled from Crescent Hill to Southern Indiana and brought me a sampler of six beers that I have never tried before.

Apparently Santa, who is a confirmed wine drinker, got some recommendations from a very helpful elf at Keg Liquors.

I can't wait to open the first one!

I got to meet a few new people from the forum last week. Thanks to everyone who stopped in to visit.

I stopped in on Sat. to get my fix of Alpha King and Minga jerky, can't get Alpha King in Louisville. I tried to say hi to Todd but he wasn't in the house.
