From myself as well.
Many thanks for all the helpful hints, all the cooking tips, all the buying/store information. Thanks for camaraderie that is always warm and thoughtful.

Thought this was going to be a repost of the LHB edition! I forget who wrote it? I can't seem to find it!

And a Merry Christmas to you all too!

As I wrap up things (quietly) at the office this morning and get ready to head home to prep the fixins' for the grand event, I am humbled by the fact that I have so much to be thankful for in this most blessed and beautiful season.

From my crazy household to your's....May you be as blessed as I've been.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

Merry, Happy, Blessed and Bountiful Christmas, Hannukah, Eid, Winter Solstice or Festivus to all my HotBytes pals ... and that's a lot of people! What a great community this has been, as we've shared foodie and wino talk and real food and wine ... may the coming year see many more outstanding offlines, and good business for all our local eateries and watering holes.

As i type this i cant help but cry because the holidays are about LOVE......things can be stripped away and we are left with our hearts and emotions, the most important things. Things are not bountiful, BUT we ARE blessed! My children have strong voices to yell while they play, all of their limbs are working, they can eat, breathe, and walk on their own, (the babies might need a bit of help there...   ) they are sheltered and do not go to bed hungry.

our best Christmas present of all this year.......James is employed!!!!!!!! He got the call on the 21st....... now how is that for a Christmas miracle???

Faith sometimes wanes, but remember that mustard seed....... we have been blessed by angels among us.

Christmas is not equated by the amount of what is under the tree......but by all of those around it......

To you and yours, from me and mine, I hope the Holidays bring you lots of wine. May your glasses be plentiful, and your bouquet be aromatic.

Its been a good year, heres hoping '10 treats us better.

Merry Christmas everyone! I don't know how all of you chefs do it! I have made more food in the last week than I probably have in 2 months. I was so tickled with myself today that as I was standing making my dessert I actually yelled out "I am Betty Fricking Crocker!!" I can't imagine having that much joy every day

A most blessed, merry and safe Christmas to one and all. If you are celebrating another winter holiday, may it be equally blessed, merry and safe.

Becky, tell James congratulations! What wonderful news. :D
