Holy Cow!! Could it possibly be worth it??!!

by TanyaD » Mon Jun 11, 2007 10:19 am

I just don't see how one can justify paying this price for a cookbook, even if it's the best one ever written:

<b>White Heat</b>

Sorry, I don't know how to make the link smaller. :(

It's fairly simple to make the link smaller. I'll make an example, just substitute [ for { when you do it:

{url=http://www.amazon.com/White-Heat-Marco-Pierre/dp/1855100312/ref=pd_bbs_sr_5/104-2295325-3067147?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1181567069&sr=8-5}EXPENSIVE COOKBOOK!{/url}

So you put the link in the {url=} box, then type the description, then close off the code with {/url}. When you use the [ it will become a code instead of text and will work like this:

EXPENSIVE COOKBOOK!

Does a world class chef fly to your house and prepare selected recipes?

Look into this further. The books are not normally this expensive. You can find them for around $100. This person is trying to make a huge profit off a book that was released in 1990. A very good book it is but, you are correct that it is not worth over $1000. Here is a link to a reasonably priced one.
