I am hosting a poker game tomorrow night and need to provide food for 15 guys. Anybody have any suggestions on where I can get good take-home chili?

Call the Smith's at Shady Lane Cafe... if they already don't have it on the menu that day, Im sure they'd be willing to hook up a batch for you...

Dear Mike. We would be glad to help you out. GIve us a call in the morning and if I'm not there, tell the staff what you are wishing. We close at 3 on Mondays, which is the only problem. If you could come by around then and pick up it up we would be glad to help. Do you like your Chili on the hot side? I tend to tone it down a bit for the customers, but could do a spicy version for you. 893=5118 Also, Thanks to Stephen for thinking of us. Yours, Bill

Jason's Deli also has a very good Texas chili that you can buy in any quantity to go. Texas chili is all meat with no beans or noodles (thus real chili instead of spaghetti like is usually found in Louisville).

Chili is so easy to make the day before for something like this and then re-heat.
