Dakshin takeout?

Anyone tried takeout from Dakshin? I love the buffet, but wanted to bring something home for dinner some evening. In particularly, is it better to order individual dishes, or the thalis?

My hubby has picked some food up when the craving has hit. The food quality is exactly the same. You should be fine!

If anything, IMO ordering off the menu for dine in or take out improves the freshness and quality of the dishes. So much so I was disappointed when I went to the buffet.

I have gotten takeout from both DakShin and Bombay Grill on several occasions and love it. And I carry mine back to Frankfort. Been wanting to get back to BG and get some more soon.

When I went, I wanted to order the thali (combo platter). I was told they were not available. Is that for takeout, just for me, just that night?

I couldn't deocde whta dishes to order, so I went to the taco truck, and picked up something there.

Has anyone specifically ordered a thali to go, or do you just get a few dishes?

I don't think either Bombay Grill or Dakshin will do Thali for take out...it's dine in only. No, not just for you, just that night Ginger!

Thanks- I would dine do dine-in to get the thali- if only I could persuade my children to give it a try.
