Has it been mentioned here that Boombozz taphouse is taking over Macca's in Westport village?

I noticed a banner stating such today, and it looks like the "Pulls" are already in place. You can see them from the window!

Oh Annemarie, You know the answer to that question.... how you toy with me!

LOL. Yes, Tony Boombozz Pizza, and Taphouse will more than likely be serving pizza.
This is a new concept for them, and I am guessing from my top of mind description of them, Boombozz has driven it home! Their other pizza and taphouse seems to be getting favorable reviews, and I hope this one will take off too. (watch out for tumbleweeds while walking through the center on a winter evening though).

I saw the banner Thursday (checking out the Comfy Cow) and meant to mention it, d'oh! That's awfully close to Boombozz Pizza and Vino at Hurstbourne and Westport ... I assume they plan to keep both open, but ...

They should do very very well in Westport Village. Exciting news.

Hmmm if only there were other areas of town to open new locations. It's a shame you can only open restaurants around Westport RD these days. :P

I am kind of a big deal.

Why? I think the old Amerigo location on Hurstborne Lane would make for a good location.

I can think of lots of other good areas too, especially along Dixie or maybe over in Jeffersonville or Downtown Louisville...

Sure. Why not. I don't visit those areas often, but see they can bee viable alternatives. Open there too; don't limit yourself to too few locations.

After eating their under-cooked pizza I thought about how much I missed the White Castle at Eastern Pkwy and Bardstown Road. That seems to be a common fault with our local pizza joints.
